We believe in the importance of music and strongly support the idea that each person should have the opportunity to enjoy live music, free-of-charge! An environmentally friendly music concert celebrating the Summer of Love 50th Anniversary in October of 2017.

You’re invited to be a part of this once- in-a-lifetime event, honoring 50 years of love in beautiful San Francisco. Sponsorship packages are now available.

A celebration of the “Human Be-in.” A free concert for all and a historical moment merging the roots of the peace-loving subculture through the generations in a way that could only be The Summer of Love 50th Anniversary Concert. The festival will take place just steps from the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco.

Where in 1967, the “Summer of Love” was born, uniting the spirits of millions as love spread across the world. This concert will celebrate the music and simple principles of peace, love, compassion, understanding and higher consciousness for all who want to tune in.


The Summer of Love 50th Anniversary is promoted by the non-profit, “Council of Light”. This is a group of like-minded individuals who have been in the music industry since the early 60’s. It includes members of the original Family Dog, Grateful Dead management, Digger community, early Bay Area FM radio personalities, poster artists, musicians, many of San Francisco’s luminaries, it’s movers and shakers.


Because of the historical significance of the event, the ending of this era, we plan to utilize the best and latest in concert production for the musicians, from the sound, the stage, the light show, to the travel and lodging. While noted musicians from the era will be featured, we will also include other conscious artists from the current four decades.
